Arrange Acquisition Equity – Multiple Product Portfolio

Secured a pension fund equity source that allowed a major southeast developer to reposition and purchase an existing portfolio valued in excess of $300 Million.

Structuring a Joint Venture to Execute a Buy/Sell – Office

Financially engineered a buy out of an existing equity partner of a major Atlanta office building through analysis of buy/sell provisions in Joint Venture documents and matching the developer with a new equity source to complete the purchase of asset valued in excess of $100 Million.

Arrange Disposition/Entitlement of a Major Land Opportunity – Land

Represented a major Atlanta utility company in the disposition and sale of their corporate headquarters. The transaction required understanding of entitlement, construction and financing that resulted in the new development of more than 800,000 square feet of in-town retail and residential space.

Sale and Structure of Joint Venture – Office

Represented major Atlanta developer in the sale of multiple Class-A office buildings to a public REIT and negotiated  a new venture between the REIT and developer to build new speculative office buildings. Transaction volume was in excess of $145 Million.

Multi-Family Repositioning  and Sale – Multi-family

Represented apartment owner to reposition a Buckhead development which involved recasting bond debt and provided the owner the opportunity to buy out existing partner and sell the asset.

Retail Development and Disposition – Retail

Represented major Atlanta investor in the acquisition of a major Buckhead retail site. Engaged in every aspect of the transaction including origination of construction loan, structure joint venture partnership, property management, placement of permanent debt and finally the disposition of the asset.
